2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website wata-towels.com and the purchase of products through the WATA online store. By placing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms.

WATA reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version applicable to each order is the one in force at the time of purchase.

3. Products

All products available in the WATA online store are described as accurately as possible, including composition, dimensions, weight and available colours. Images are for illustrative purposes only — minor colour variations may occur depending on the customer's monitor settings.

WATA reserves the right to change product availability without prior notice. In the event of a stock shortage after order confirmation, the customer will be notified and may choose a replacement, store credit or full refund.

4. Prices

All prices shown include VAT at the applicable legal rate. WATA reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price applicable to each order is the one shown at the time the purchase is completed.

Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during the checkout process, before order confirmation.

5. Orders and Payment

An order is considered placed upon payment confirmation. The customer will receive a confirmation email with an order summary.

Available payment methods: credit and debit cards, PayPal, Klarna, MB Way, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Available options may vary by delivery country and will always be displayed at checkout. Each order can only be completed using one payment method.

6. Shipping and Delivery

WATA ships to the entire European Union. Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and address, and will be indicated during the checkout process.

Once dispatched, the customer will receive an email with a tracking number to follow the order. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by external factors such as strikes, weather conditions or peak demand periods.

Free shipping is available on orders over €200. For orders below this amount, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 30 days from the date of receipt of the products.

To exercise this right, the customer must notify WATA at info@watatowels.com, stating their intention to return and providing the order number. Products must be returned in their original condition, unworn, with all labels intact and in the original packaging where possible.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned items, WATA will process a refund for the value of the products within 14 days, using the same payment method as the original purchase. Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.

8. Legal Guarantee

All products sold by WATA are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under EU Directive 2019/771, for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery.

In the event of non-conformity, the customer is entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or contract termination, in accordance with applicable law. To make a guarantee claim, please contact WATA at info@watatowels.com.

9. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

In the event of a dispute, consumers may use an Alternative Dispute Resolution entity. For cross-border disputes within the European Union, the customer may use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Intellectual Property

All content available on the website wata-towels.com — including texts, images, logos, design and other elements — is the property of WATA or of third parties who have granted permission for its use. Reproduction, distribution or use of any content without prior written authorisation from WATA is strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

WATA is not liable for damages resulting from improper use of products, delivery delays caused by third parties, or circumstances beyond its control (force majeure). WATA's liability is in any case limited to the value of the order in question.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of resolution through extrajudicial means, the courts of the district of WATA's registered address shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to applicable consumer protection legislation.
